Fariba's Bio

Fariba is a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). She completed her bachelor’s and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Waterloo.   

Fariba uses a combination of approaches to meet your needs and your goals for therapy. These approaches include Trauma-Informed Practices, EMDR, Solution-Focused, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, and Gottman Method Relational Therapy.

Fariba creates a warm and safe environment. She works from a strengths-based and client-centered approach to meet you where you are in your current situation.  She uses the best possible therapeutic skills and presents the best tools to help you improve your life and your relationships by overcoming difficult situations.
