Her program of research includes sexual health and wellbeing, sexual desire and sexual problems, sexual arousal and sexual pleasure, and sexual communication and relationships. She draws upon this work to help clients develop the skills and tools to better understand and enhance their sexual experiences. She believes our sexuality and relationships are integrally tied to our emotional and psychological wellbeing and that all of us have the right to, and the capacity for, positive sexual experiences. Robin practices in a client-centred way to help individuals determine their goals and find pathways to achieving them. She is deeply curious, passionate, inclusive, and responsive to diverse experiences and values. Whether it’s a more balanced life, reduced anxiety, improved mood and relationships, or increased sexual pleasure, Robin collaborates with clients to create change in their lives and experience more peace and happiness. Robin works from a strengths-based, solution-focused perspective, drawing on evidence-based interventions. Together, clients can work with Robin to disentangle complex situations, experiences, and relationships, helping challenges to feel more manageable. At the core, however, is the therapeutic relationship. Robin works with care and respect to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can be and express themselves. When she is not at Bliss, she can be found sitting around a table with fellow researchers at local coffee shops, trying to develop a better understanding of factors that influence individual and relational wellbeing. In her off hours, she enjoys time exploring the many nearby trails with her family and dogs.
