Tammy's Bio

I have been a social worker since 2004 and I have worked in many different fields, with foster children, women’s shelters and in the hospital on the mental health unit.  I have been a therapist for over 8 years and I truly love the work that I do.

Life isn’t easy and a lot of us have faced many issues over the years, especially with the changes covid brought.  I believe all of us have lived through some traumatic experiences and have faced many difficult changes to how we live our lives.  I also believe that we can learn new skills to help us cope with these life challenges and take new steps to creating a life we want.

Therapy is hard and taking the first step is the most important one.  If I am not the therapist for you I have many amazing colleagues who would love to support you.  Always remember one of the most important steps is finding a therapist you connect with.

I am now Supervising Social Work Students, please reach out if this is something
