A Guided Journaling Group
Self-care isn’t another box to check; it’s how you come home to yourself.
Journaling can be that homecoming: not a “should,” but a soft place to land. A space to be honest, curious, and kind with yourself, the way a true friend would.
On the page, you listen to what you feel, name what you need, and remember what you value. That’s where your inner wisdom gets louder than the noise.

Dates/Times: Join us for a four-week virtual Sunday morning group led by Kim Sciaraffa, Registered Psychotherapist.
Group Size + Location: 8-10 Adults Online (Zoom)

We often treat self-care like another task on an endless to-do list—go to yoga, take a bath, meditate, walk in nature. And when we don’t check those boxes, we feel worse, not better. But true self-care isn’t about productivity. It’s about nourishment. It’s about returning to ourselves.
A daily writing practice can so easily become just another “should.” Instead of inspiring care, it becomes one more thing to feel guilty about.
But journaling has the potential to be something entirely different—one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. Through journaling, we can offer ourselves what we often give others: unconditionally accepting, curious, nonjudgmental, loving space. We can listen to ourselves the way a good friend would. And by doing that, we can cultivate a deeper, kinder relationship with ourselves. We can come home—again and again—to what we feel, what we need, and what we value. And in that space, we can begin to trust our own inner wisdom.
Join us for a four-week virtual Sunday morning group led by Kim Sciaraffa, Registered Psychotherapist. Together, we’ll explore new and compassionate approaches to journaling and build a sustainable writing practice through:
- Guided journaling prompts
- Fairy tales as therapeutic metaphor
- Freewriting
- Guided visualization and meditation
- Supportive connection with others on the same journey
Whether you’re new to journaling or hoping to reconnect with your practice, this group offers a warm, gentle space to explore your inner world.
