With an integrated approach, Ebru tailors each session to fit the unique needs of clients. She usually draws from, but not limited to, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFiT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Whether working with individuals or couples, the focus is on fostering self-discovery, self-acceptance, and deeper connections with oneself and with others.

More About Ebru

Ebru is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and an Associate Member of ASTO, registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Holding a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University. Ebru has also completed training, including a Human Sexuality Intensive from the Kinsey Institute. She also has additional training in EFCT, EFiT, and ADHD.

Growing up in an environment where sex was taboo, Ebru understands the impact of misinformation around sex and sexuality. This experience fuels her passion for providing a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their fantasies, desires, and relationships. Her training also gives her unique insight into the challenges neurodivergent individuals face in intimacy and self-acceptance, ensuring therapy embraces diverse ways of thinking, feeling, and communicating. Ebru strives to help clients feel seen, heard, and supported on their journey.

Beyond the therapy room, Ebru is an avid reader, especially of fantasy fairy smut genre. A self-proclaimed language collector, Ebru enjoys revisiting and expanding her knowledge of Spanish, French, German, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese whenever she gets the motivation, finding joy in the challenge of picking up where she left off.

With Ebru, therapy is about befriending yourself and fostering deeper connections with both yourself and others. She believes in being realistic, objective and transparent. Therapy is a collaboration; with you in the driver’s seat and Ebru as your GPS. Open communication and feedback are always encouraged because these sessions are ultimately for “you.”
