More About Whitney

Whitney has completed the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at Bliss. Her approach is grounded in the belief that therapy isn’t about making life perfect. It’s about finding ways to live meaningfully even when circumstances are messy, unpredictable, or difficult. She brings this perspective from her own life: moving through change, uncertainty, and the natural imperfections of being human. For Whitney, progress has never meant holding out for “the right moment” or waiting until every piece is in place—it’s about starting where you are and making workable shifts now.

She works with both individuals and couples, recognizing that meaningful change can happen whether you are facing challenges on your own or within a partnership. For individuals, she helps identify priorities, uncover the deeper issues that fuel patterns, build resilience, and turn reflection into action. For couples, she offers a structured space to talk openly, strengthen connection, and develop tools to manage conflict and move forward together.

Whitney draws on years of experience working with people in a variety of settings, from community organizations to private practice. Clients appreciate her ability to cut through overwhelm, helping them focus on what matters most and take steps that actually fit into their lives. She understands that people often come to therapy already having read the books, listened to the podcasts, and tried to figure it out alone. Her role is to help bridge the gap between knowing what might help and actually making it part of everyday life.

With Whitney, clients experience a mix of steady support and honest feedback, leaving each session with both perspective and tangible next steps. Every conversation circles back to what’s most important to them, with room to reflect and strategies to try between sessions. Clients leave feeling heard, accepted, and encouraged—not with a promise that life will be perfect, but with a plan for living it more fully.
