Brittany understands that our past experiences, especially with trauma, can influence how we see ourselves, relate to others, and experience our bodies. As a result, you may understand your patterns but still find yourself repeating them. You may long for closeness while struggling to trust, feel safe, or express what you need. Together, Brittany will support you in processing these experiences with curiosity and compassion, helping you to understand yourself and find new ways of relating that are aligned with your values and hopes for your life.
She takes a collaborative, relational, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. She believes you are the expert on your own life, and she will work alongside you to make sense of your experiences with warmth and care. Brittany is known to be a therapist who can hold intensity and traumatic emotional experiences with deep empathy and attunment, while guiding you to rebuild trust in yourself, reconnect with your body and desires, and develop relationships that feel intimate and safe in your nervous system.
Brittany is also passionate about creating space for what you want more of in life. Beyond working through pain, together you can explore pleasure, intimacy, sexual empowerment, and cultivating experiences that help you feel present, connected, and alive in your body and relational life.
Brittany is in good standings with the College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO).
Outside of the therapy room, you can find her reading, spending time with her family and friends, trying to recreate her Nonna’s recipes (unsuccessfully so far), or making another coffee for the day.
