Fariba is a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master of Social Work from the University of Waterloo.

She specializes in individual, relationship, and sex therapy. She offers a warm, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed approach that is always tailored to each client’s unique needs. Grounded in attachment theory and trauma-informed practices, her work integrates a variety of modalities, including Narrative Therapy, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, IFS-informed, Spirituality and Mindfulness.

Fariba works with a diverse range of clients and issues, with a particular focus on supporting those experiencing anxiety, depression, past trauma, burnout, breakups, life transitions, low self-esteem, self-criticism, body acceptance, and sexual difficulties.

Fariba celebrates and embraces the resilience and strength of her clients. She acknowledges their experiences and ensures they feel seen, wholly accepted, and validated, encouraging them to explore their innermost thoughts and emotions. She meets clients exactly where they are, offering thoughtful reflections to support deeper self-awareness, connection, and empowerment.
