Josh Coniglio

Therapist Intern (Supervised Practice) / Intern Therapisthe/him/his

Josh brings a thoughtful, relational, and reflective presence to his work as an Intern at Bliss Counselling. Josh is passionate about creating spaces where people feel genuinely met in their experiences, especially in moments that feel uncertain, overwhelming, or hard to put into words. He approaches therapy with empathy and curiosity, drawing on CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed care to meet each client where they are and support them in finding their own path forward. Currently completing his Masters of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University, Josh brings both clinical grounding and genuine care to his work. Outside the therapy room, he recharges through guitar, yoga, and backcountry camping, and loves discovering new music from small artists.

Josh works under the supervision of Kristy McGarva, RSW,MSW, a senior therapist, clinical supervisor. With Kristy’s guidance, Josh provides thoughtful, supervised care while continuing to develop his own clinical voice. Clients benefit from both Josh’s relational approach and Kristy’s extensive clinical expertise.
